Spring is bursting into full bloom just in time for Mothers Day in Columbus.
EyE Homes, INC. is looking forward to celebrating our very own and very dear Erika Saldarriaga this Sunday, May 8th.
Looking for something special to do in the columbus community? So are we! Here’s what we’ve found for the weekend.
1) Saturday, May 7 / 10am Mother’s Day Weekend Butterfly Release @ Franklin Park Conservatory – Mothers Day in Columbus wouldn’t be Mothers Day in Columbus without the Franklin Park Conservatory. Treat mom with a special opportunity to release a newly emerged butterfly. Watch it take its first flight into the Pacific Island Water Garden as you learn about these fascinating creatures.
2) Saturday, May 7 / 2pm A Conversation with Lino Tagliapietra @ The Columbus Museum of Art – If you’re looking for some arts and culture, take a trip to the art museum and take advantage of a rare opportunity to hear the creator of the CMA’s celebrated masterpiece Endeavor. Lino Tagliapietra’s work has been exhibited widely and is found in museums around the globe, receiving countless honors. No registration requested, and it’s FREE with admission!
3) Sunday, May 9 / 7am – 2:30pm Mother’s Day Brunch @ First Watch Cafe – Brunch comes with a free complimentary box of chocolates! First Watch’s chief marketing officer reports “We honor mothers with a free gift every year, because we want to recognize them for everything they do. We know mothers are always giving back — now it’s our turn.”
Wishing all families a happy Mothers Day in Columbus however you choose to celebrate.
As my mom always said, ‘You’d rather have smile lines than frown lines.
